Margaret D Findlay

Margaret has returned to live in Edinburgh, where she was born, after spending many years in the Scottish Borders and also in Gourock on the West Coast.

During the years of bringing up a family and undertaking caring roles she painted and drew as much as possible selling in various galleries and undertaking commission pastel paintings of animals.

She has collaborated with other artists to produce two exhibitions. One four person exhibition in 2018, Peebles and, Spring 2024, a six person exhibition in the Dundas Street Gallery, Edinburgh.

Her work has been in the Mall Galleries, London, Ancrum Art, the Society of Women Artists, Aberdeen Artist Society,  Meffan Winter Exhibition where, in 2024, I received the Angus Alive Purchase Prize.
