Lorraine Robson

Lorrain is a sculptor who works mainly with ceramics. She graduated in Fine art at Edinburgh College of Art and now works from her studio near Linlithgow.

Lorraine’s work is mostly one-off, labour intensive hand-built, sculptural pieces. Her wall installations are cast, often in multiples, from moulds taken from her hand-crafted ceramic originals.

Lorraine has exhibited across Europe and USA. She has work in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office collection, which selected here to promote the best in contemporary UK craft abroad. She was also commissioned by the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh to create a wall relief for their building.
