Andrea MacMillan

Andrea lives in Auchtermuchty. She is a stitched textile artist who works with natural fabrics, thread and a sewing machine to create small pictures and wall hangings. She discovered this medium later in life and took the City & Guilds Patchwork and Quilting parts one and two, and the Machine Embroidery short course.

She has spent the last twenty years finding and perfecting her own style. This includes intricate and beautifully observed landscapes, flowers and creatures; and more contemporary pieces where colour takes centre stage.
