Degree in Education, Glasgow
Catriona Macdonald MacEachen lives in Fife and specialises in Scottish land and seascapes.
Art has always been her passion and although mainly 
self-taught, she specialised in art while undertaking an education degree in Glasgow. 
Having taught in schools for several years she became a full-time artist in 2009. 
A deep love of nature and the intensity of colour and changing light of the land and seascapes of Scotland, 
are her inspiration. 
Her choice of media depends on the mood or 
atmosphere, she wishes to capture and she often 
favours acrylic to capture the vivid hues and drama of an East Coast sunrise or Hebridean sunset.
Catriona exhibits widely in galleries throughout the UK and her paintings are held In collections both in the UK and abroad.
